| Ealing Studios production folIowing the stories of a variety of different people caught up in the same train crash. From the the train driver, who is only driving because his daughter's boyfriend has faiIed to show up for work, and the composer caught up in a difficult love triangle, through to the young woman on the run with her German P.O.W. boyfriend and the murderer who is making the journey to dispose of a body, the crash brings about a decisive change in the lives of alI those involved. The fiIm is divided into four separate stories, each representing a different viewpoint on events, and aIl converging together in the fatefuI rail disaster. |
