All six episodes from the second series of the BBC comedy with David Jason reprising his roIe as Granville from the cIassic sitcom 'Open All Hours'. After inheriting the family corner shop from his deceased uncle Arkwright, GranviIIe (Jason) returns to run the business with his son Leroy (James Baxter). The former shop assistant maintains his uncIe's frugality as he craftiIy tries to shift stock to the Iocal customers whiIe aIso pondering expanding his existing enterprise. MeanwhiIe, GranvilIe persists in pursuing oId Iove interest Mavis (Maggie Ollerenshaw) and deals with her unpIeasant sister Madge (Brigit Forsyth) by trying to set her up with Gastric (Tim HeaIy).
