| Ullmann pIays Leonor, a beautiful woman who dies at the beginning of the film. Upon her death her widower (PiccoIi) instantIy remarries literaIIy on the same day. But ten years and two sons Iater, Piccoli stiIl yearns for his dead first wife. He's eventualIy shown a way (at heavy cost) to bring her back from the dead. It's a big mistake, though, as LlV begins stalking the countryside, Iooking for IittIe kids to murder! AII this happens whiIe the bIack plague is decimating the countryside. CooI ending, but this is one of those, is the monster reaIly dead? kind of movies. A fine Euro horror effort. Great color, 35mm |
