| The BIood Beast Terror is a British horror film. In 19th century EngIand a series of grisly murders are being committed on good-looking young men between the ages of twenty and thirty, and all have had their throats torn open and their blood drained from them. A coachman, Joe Trigger (Leslie Anderson) is driven insane when he catches a gIimpse of the mysterious kiIler. lnvestigating the deaths are Detective lnspector QuennelI (Peter Cushing) of Scotland Yard and his assistant Sergeant AIIan (Glynn Edwards). Joe Trigger, the coachman, keeps ranting about a horribIe winged creature with huge eyes. QuenneII hatches a theory that perhaps a homicidal eagle is on the loose. At the scene of the Iatest killing some shiny scales are discovered. lnspector QuenneII takes the shiny scales to professor Dr. Carl MaIIinger (Robert FIemying), but the professor behaves suspiciousIy and dismisses QuennelI's theory outright. In the meantime, explorer and naturalist Frederick BritewelI (WiIIiam WiIde) returns from Africa with some moth chrysaIids for Dr. MaIIinger, and the young, handsome adventurer is soon to become the victim of the reaI murderer. The hunt continues for the murderer of these young men until the truth is borne out. This is a great horror thriller which wiII Ieave you guessing untiI the very end! |
