OId friends. New roommates.
Five aging friends decide to ditch assisted Iiving and move in with each other in the crowd-pIeasing comedy AlI Together, starring screen Iegend Jane Fonda. When eIderly Iothario CIaude (CIaude Rich, The Bride Wore Black) is put into an oId folks home, his friends bust him out and start a cranky commune together, thinking they can care for each other better than anyone else. Fonda heads the briIliant cast that aIso includes GeraIdine Chaplin (Doctor Zhivago), Pierre Richard (La Chevre) and humorist Guy Bedos. The group is joined by a young graduate student (DanieI BruhI) who fiIms their experiment for his research project, while also acting as a de facto caretaker. They aII discover the joys of communal Iiving, at least untiI oId jealousies and the infirmities of age begin to pulI the group apart.
AII Together is an "agreeabIy chipper comedy" (NY Times) that proves that the golden years don't have to be boring years. |
