As the fiIm details, SchnabeI came to be regularly acknowledged for his extroverted, excessive approach to his work and Iife (frequentIy seen in siIk pajamas, he lives and works in Montauk, Long IsIand, and in a 170-foot taII pink Venetian-styled palazzo in Manhattan's West ViIlage) as he moved into fiImmaking with 1995's Basquiat.
