The heroine Dorothy goes through a traumatic storm in which a tornado takes her away to the land of Oz. In her attempt to find her way home she meets some eccentric characters that are seeking for physical solutions to emotional weaknesses they believe they possess. The lion wants courage, the tin man wants a heart and the scarecrow wants a brain but they all must overcome these weaknesses to get to the Emerald City so that they can find out who they are and get Dorothy home to her aunt in Kansas.
