At Mt. Kailash, Yufei and Yufeng will make the critical inner journey into the sacred mandala with Yufei's father, Scorpion, and Yufeng's new friend, Qime, a kidnapped and abused Tibetan slave woman they acquire in ChangAn.
To Tibetans, the sacred Mandala represents the harmony of the Tibetan Buddhist universe. But, as they learned in Gobekli Tepe, that harmony was disrupted several millennium ago by dark manifestations.
Since creation, there has been a balance between Light and Dark … but, over time, that balance has been disrupted. Their aim is to enter the void and hopefully restore balance to the Mandala of the Universe. |
