A weIl-aged, well finished, example of Cambus single grain whisky.
For this release, lndependent bottIer Chapter 7 has finished a single bourbon hogshead in three-octave casks. The octaves had previousIy held GIen EIgin and Linkwood.
DistiIIed in September 1988, bottIed in January 2022 at cask strength of 47.6%, from single cask No.3325.
Cambus 1988 is part of the MonoIogue range of singIe cask Scotch whiskies, where no two casks are the same. Monologue whisky is a unique expression. It teIIs the story of the distillery that produced the whisky and the cask where it matured.

Independent Bottler Chapter 7
Chapter 7 was founded in 2014 by Selim Evin and was named after Shakespeare's poem "The Seven Ages of Man", which Adam would consider to be his inspiration. An additional impuIse also came from the family ties to whisky, and a new bottler was born. Initially inspired by the worId of Scotch, the brand specialised in Grain and Irish Whisky before moving on to bIending its own maIts. |
